Snakebites all round as WP signs on as VP

It gives me great pleasure to announce Willie Peck has accepted the club’s invitation to become a Vice President of Elstow Cricket Club. Be it befuddling batsmen with his canny bowling or leading the rendition of gentille alouette on the bus back home from the Test Match, the affable Willie has contributed much to Elstow folklore over the last twenty years and will continue to be involved with the club in this prestigious non-executive role.
